Delivered: • CPA: Migrated WAMO sales tax system to modern OpenShift/SpringBoot/ForgeRock stack with CI/CD pipelines (1 year). • TxDMV: Refactored mainframe to distributed server architecture, built new infrastructure and migration efforts (5 years).
Enterprise Architecture & Portfolio Management
Challenge: DIR needed to manage Technology Strategy for 30+ Texas state agencies, requiring deep expertise and decades of working closely with agencies across Texas.
Delivered: As Solution Services Director (2 years), led Solution Architects, analyzed architecture and technology exception requests to identify trends, developed strategic initiatives. Managed Texas.gov applications portfolio inheritance and cloud migration strategy (6 months).
