Executive Coaching & Mentoring

You've Been Successful For Years. So Why Does This Feel So Hard?

Twenty years of climbing. Achievement after achievement. The resume looks great. The salary is solid. People respect what you've built.

But something's shifted.

The role that once energized you now feels like you're going through the motions. You're wondering if there's a next chapter worth pursuing—but you can't see what that looks like. Or you see multiple paths and can't figure out which one is actually right.

You're facing a high-stakes decision about your future with incomplete information and competing priorities. Sound familiar?

That's exactly where I work—with accomplished professionals navigating their next chapter.

Where Are You Right Now?

You've reached a transition point but the path forward isn't clear:

The senior executive contemplating what's next after decades of corporate success—approaching retirement but not ready to simply "stop," wondering what a meaningful next chapter looks like beyond golf and grandkids.

The accomplished professional transitioning to independent work—wanting to consult or coach but uncertain how to position yourself, price your services, or build a practice that feels authentic rather than forced.

The leader who's succeeded by all external measures but something feels missing—checking boxes without satisfaction, work that once energized you now drains you, wondering if there's something more meaningful you should be doing.

The executive facing competing priorities you can't seem to reconcile—professional demands versus personal needs, wanting to slow down but fearing irrelevance or income loss, seeking integration not just better time management.

The common thread? You're making a decision that will shape the next 10-20 years, but you can't see the full picture clearly. The stakes are high. The information is incomplete. The usual decision frameworks don't quite fit.

This isn't a technical problem. It's a clarity problem.

What Success Looks Like

Imagine Six Months From Now

Morning clarity and excitement about your professional direction
Purposeful momentum replacing the "stuck" feeling
Concrete next steps that feel authentic and meaningful
Decision confidence free from the paralysis of "what if"
Trusted advisor who understands executive-level complexity
Purposeful action on what matters most—not just what's expected

Why a Technology Strategist Does Executive Coaching

After two decades helping government CIOs make $150M technology decisions, I noticed something:

The technology choices were rarely the hard part. The human decisions under uncertainty were.

The CIO who can't get stakeholder consensus on cloud migration—that's not a technology problem. It's a clarity problem. The executive who's been successful for 20 years but feels stuck—that's not a career problem. It's a decision problem under competing constraints.

The core work is the same: helping people find clarity when the path forward isn't obvious and the stakes are high.

I do coaching because I've lived both sides: leading complex organizational transformations for 20+ years AND navigating my own career reinvention from pure execution to strategic advisory. I understand the fears, the questions, and the decisions from the inside—not from a textbook.

How We Work Together

Initial Discovery Session (90 minutes)

What brought you here today? What would success look like? We explore your current state, aspirations, and what's been holding you back. This isn't a sales call—it's a genuine exploration of whether working together makes sense.

Regular Sessions (60 minutes)

Bi-weekly or monthly conversations focused on achieving the outcomes that matter to you. Every session starts with: "What's most important for you right now?" This isn't about my agenda—it's about your clarity and direction.

Between-Session Support

Email access for urgent questions or insights that emerge between our conversations. Sometimes the breakthrough happens at 2am on a Tuesday—I'm available when you need to process it.

Typical Engagement

Most clients work with me for 3-6 months to achieve initial clarity and direction. Some continue longer as new chapters unfold and new decisions emerge.

What Makes This Different

You don't have to explain what it's like at your level

I've led organizational transformations, navigated executive politics, advised C-suite leaders on $150M+ decisions. You don't have to translate or justify the complexity—I already understand the stakes and pressures you face.

This isn't about creating action plans

It's about understanding yourself at a deeper level and making decisions that truly align with who you are. Not just "what to do" but "who you're becoming."

You get both strategic business thinking and deeper personal insight

The combination of executive experience and personal development work. The "what makes practical sense" AND the "what feels authentically right." Most coaches give you one or the other—rarely both.
